These chocolate brownie bites are not only delicious, but they’re packed with high quality protein and healthy fats to support your hormones. Perfect for satisfying those PMS cravings!
Ingredients
- 1.5 cup of dates
- 2 tbsp of chocolate bone broth protein powder (we like Planet Paleo)
- 3 tbsp of cacao powder
- 3 tbsp of almond flour or ground almonds
- 1 tbsp of nut butter (we love hazelnut butter!)
To coat:
- 85% or more organic dark chocolate (we like Vivani or Ombar)
Sea salt flakes
Method
- Soak the dates in hot water for 5 minutes.
- Rinse the dates and blend with the other ingredients until smooth. If the mixture is too dry, add 1-2 tbsp of warm water
- Place the mixture in the freezer for 30 minutes
- Remove from the freezer and roll into balls
- Melt the chocolate
- Dip the balls into the melted chocolate and sprinkle with sea salt
- Place in the fridge to set for 1-2 hours
