Chocolate brownie bites

These chocolate brownie bites are not only delicious, but they’re packed with high quality protein and healthy fats to support your hormones. Perfect for satisfying those PMS cravings!

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cup of dates
  • 2 tbsp of chocolate bone broth protein powder (we like Planet Paleo)
  • 3 tbsp of cacao powder
  • 3 tbsp of almond flour or ground almonds
  • 1 tbsp of nut butter (we love hazelnut butter!)
To coat:
  • 85% or more organic dark chocolate (we like Vivani or Ombar)
    Sea salt flakes

Method

  • Soak the dates in hot water for 5 minutes.
  • Rinse the dates and blend with the other ingredients until smooth. If the mixture is too dry, add 1-2 tbsp of warm water
  • Place the mixture in the freezer for 30 minutes
  • Remove from the freezer and roll into balls
  • Melt the chocolate
  • Dip the balls into the melted chocolate and sprinkle with sea salt
  • Place in the fridge to set for 1-2 hours

Serving suggestions

  • Consume after a balanced meal to minimise blood sugar spikes.
